Catching a Breeze

Details:
Coloured Denim: Free People | Sweater: BCBG | Boots: Dolce Vita | Leather Jacket: Danier | Toque: Zara | Bag: Gucci

It's been a week since I've moved into the new place.  It's coming together and I'm really excited to show you the final touches.  A virtual tour will be in order.  In the meantime, here's a glimpse of my daily view.  So I see a little bit of everything; greenery, the lake, my fellow neighbours and my favourite view of all time - train tracks.  There's something about train tracks that I love so much.  Perhaps it's the anticipation of hearing the sound of the train coming, waiting for it to pass on the empty track.  More importantly, I am reminded of a different experience for every train that passes.  Before I left my house, I decided to watch the empty train tracks, anxiously waiting for a train to pass and to catch a cool breeze from the lake.  Wearing my Free People jeans; you would not believe how great Free People jeans fit!  For a petite body with a boyish figure like mine, these jeans give me the satisfaction of fitting into something so wonderfully right.  I'll let you into a little secret, they were on sale for $39.99, but the regular price is also amazingly affordable.  They start from $89+, but trust me they're worth it.  It's a great price for something trendy and for a "for the season" kind of thing.  They have it in plenty of washes (black/charcoal, blue/stonewash/faded, dark denim etc.) that can definitely become your everyday basic.  Ladies I know how much we love jeans, especially when they fit us like a glove.  If I could dress in jeans everyday I would, and this is why I embrace every moment that I can.  Go crazy, go wild or take the minimalist approach.
