I love wearing layers and layers of clothing.  I think it's what makes the cold season fun and exciting.  I also think that layering is the best way to transition your seasonal favourites.  Mine being this dress! This dress was a steal at Urban Outfitters; found it on the clearance rack!  It still boggles my mind that no one had picked it up.  Fortunately, for me it's my size and style; this dress was meant to be mine! When things like that happen I trust my first instinct which, most of the time, is buying the product.  You miss opportunities on great pieces when you sleep on it, just make sure the stores you're shopping at have flexible returns & exchange policies.  

So is anyone else feeling the jewel tone stripes on this dress? Because I fall in love with them every time I style this piece.  Since I knew I wouldn't have the chance to freshen up my attire.  I styled this look with the day and night compatibility.  During the day I wore it without the blazer to achieve the casual, but yet together look.  In the evening it was cooler; I no longer felt the warmth of the sun.  So the blazer became an essential piece which added the sophistication that blazers bring out of you when you put them on.
