Missing Summer

This was taken last Summer.  As you can see I am experiencing withdrawal.  Every Winter day which passes leads me to dream more of what it must be like to live in California.  I guess I'm literally California dreamin'.  Really though, it must be nice to live in a hot, sunny place where you can enjoy the warmer weather while still being able to embrace cooler weather which lends itself to layering.  In other words, Canada gets darn cold!  Oh what I would do to be able to ditch parkas and Sorels! I miss wearing my open toes and all my pretty Summer dresses.  I do try and make some dresses transitional into Fall/Winter, but there's a point you reach where you don't want to put on a heavy knit on top of your dresses anymore.  While Fashion Week has begun elsewhere in the world, I'm really looking forward to Toronto Fashion Week which is several weeks away.  It will definitely help me get through the dark solemness of the Winter months.  In the meantime I stay inspired by these talented designers to feature the best of their work for Fall/Winter 2013.
