Twice a year we are graced to witness talented designers from across the globe do their thing at Fashion Weeks. New York Fashion Week just ended (February 7th to 14th) and thanks to +Mercedes-Benz for sponsoring the show and above all giving the opportunity to the unfortunate souls that can't be there to live stream directly from their website. Here are just a few of my favourites from the show - designers from Altuzarra, Diane von Fustenburg, Nicholas Kirkwood, BCBG Max Azria, Herve Leger, Timo Weiland Women's, Jeremy Laing, Tracey Reese, J.Crew, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Monique L'huilier, Reem Acra. We saw a lot of leather, my favourite is the leather sleeves and lapels on this Nicholas Kirkwood number, and I really love the BCBG ox-blood leather skirt and matching top. I was intrigued by Concept Korea's creative take on "fur on shoulders". Although, a fur vest or a fur jacket would suffice my needs and Timo Weiland did it just right for me. I love Diane von Fustenburg's style, creativity, and in camera persona. Her prints are to lust for this Fall along with those of Fashion genius Marc Jacobs. Bold, big necklaces are making a statement this coming Fall again; watch out for J.Crew, Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Lela Rose and Monique L'huillier's collections.
