Metallic Holiday

Hi everyone, I just want to thank you for keeping up with my blog! I haven't really had to chance to get out there and take gorgeous editorial shots; work is taking up all my time and effort these days.  It's going to be a busy time until the end of Christmas, but please bear with me.  It would be wonderful to hear what you want to see on my blog in the near future.  I'm in the industry and doing creative things for the longest standing Canadian company.  I love the challenge and the constant change that fashion brings in my life.

So today I asked myself, why can't the weekend come any sooner? I desperately needed a little "retail therapy", so I checked out a few places to see what's in store for this holiday season.  Fortunately enough, I came across a stunning number in a store.  I could not get over how gorgeous this metallic skirt is! I had to try it on and of course take pictures to share with you all.  I know metallics can be very limited in wear.  I was in the change room for quite some time brainstorming of things to wear with this to justify buying it.  The following are my vision of styles for this metallic number.

Casual Glam Top: Loose fitting tank/t-shirt slightly tucked in front of skirt, layered with chambray shirt unbuttoned, Bottom: Opaque tights/leggings with chelsea booties.

Party Time Top: Silver/grey shimmery tank/shirt with black peplum blazer, Bottom: Black stockings with patent pumps.

Rockstar Status: (my fav!) Top: Charcoal logo t-shirt with moto leather jacket, Bottom: Tattered stockings/tights with black, silver studded boots.

Accessories are key, but let's keep it to a minimal, because we want to highlight this gorgeous number.  Perhaps leather and metal for accents.
