After work today I had a few appointments to attend. Lucky enough all the places that I had to be in were all near by. I travelled up to my dentist first then to the optical place where I had purchased my prescription glasses. Yep, I wore them the minute I got my hands on them. I love them! The woman who sold them to me was right when she said that this Fendi frame was the most suitable for my face shape. She definitely has my business! As you can see my look for today are all about round shapes; from the glasses to the shirt. I get a kick every time I wear this polka dot shirt. My boyfriend actually calls me "Minnie" (from Disney) every time I put this shirt on. Don't ask me why?!! *laughs. On a real note, I really love this shirt and everything about it; the polka dots, the colours, the cut/shape. It's easy to layer and create different looks. It's a button up shirt, so it can definitely be either dressy or casual, at the office or at dinner with friends. The look I have above is simple, but the polka dot gave it an added touch. Who knew that black would be fun with a little added dots? Since my work attire calls for simplicity (mainly black), I try and give it a little flare with stand out pieces, whether it's with costume jewellery or quirky print just like the polka dots.
Let's avoid the Blah! in Black and own this shade as if it's one of your favourite colours. Dress it to your mood, style and comfort.
